When you book a connected journey with Dohop, at least two bookings are generated directly with the carriers involved, be it an airline or a ground transport provider. This means that when you land at the airport to make your connection, you must collect any checked luggage, exit customs and then recheck yourself and your luggage for your next flight, or pick up your luggage and take it with you on the train, bus or other means of transport that is included in your journey.

Your journey will be comprised of flights on separate tickets, and you will need to exit customs and recheck yourself and your luggage at the transit airport. For this reason, a transit visa may be required. Please contact your local authorities to understand if you need a visa or any other permissions to transit through the connecting airport.

Your connection time can vary anywhere from 90 minutes to a full day or an overnight stop. For shorter connection times (90 minutes to 3 hours), we recommend that you familiarise yourself with your connection airport terminal map in order to make as speedy a transfer as possible.

Terminal maps can be found on airport websites or by contacting our agents, who will be happy to assist you. For longer connections, hotel accommodation is not included but feel free to contact our agents should you want our advice on what to book.
